Absolutely Amazing

This is undoubtedly the best flash video I've seen. The art is excellent, but the story itself is incredibly well told. The story has so much depth that is highly unexpected flash and in its scant time creates an epic feeling that usually only feature length films can. The music and video and script came together to create a truly grand feeling. It's absolutely amazing and thank you for making it. It deserves more than 4.64 in my opinion.

I've hated those cartoons for a long time. Glad somebody did a decent parody now.
Admittedly it was a bit drawn out.
The art was shitty and the sound was as well, but that's sometimes what makes a parody.
Good job.

I liked it quite a bit

It's got a good story, even if short and peculiar, but there's nothing wrong with peculiar. I found it pretty sad though, in an emotional sense, not in a "Man, that's just sad" kind of sense. I was a bit confused about why she set the squirrel on fire until I read your description, then it made quite a bit more sense, but I'm not entirely clear on whether she intended to set the tree on fire too. I expected the food she gave the tree to just fall down it, but the way you worked it was equally good.

Overall a very good film, and like others have said, you're an excellent artist. I don't think your talents are really being wasted at all, assuming that this is the style/kind of thing you enjoy doing.

This would be a pretty neat puzzle game if you used colors distinguishable to those with mild colorblindness. 3% of males alone have some form of green/red colorblindness, in addition to those with other forms. I really liked the idea until I got to the 2nd puzzle in which there were two colors which I could not distinguish at all.

[Wasted Colony]

I really wanted this to be a good game. I tried enough times to give it a fair chance to please me, but it's essentially garbage. You're guaranteed to lose, almost always before you even get a chance to build the second story. The survivors starve to death, and then a "raid" ends the game. There's no way to load a save to recover your safehouse, or to recall survivors in the case of a chance raid. Food scavenging is too little to support the 7 starting survivors, 9 games out of 10.

If it weren't ludicrously unbalanced, it'd be a lot of fun, but as it is, it's frustrating and completely without reward to play. It definitely is not good enough to be featured on the NG front page in its current state. If it had the issues worked out, it'd be great.

Very cool game

I'm not big on history, but I did pretty well. The only one that was really an issue was The communist one. You used his obscure name while history books, the media, and the public know him as something similar but different. Otherwise I liked it. Sweeeet.

This is good man. Really good. 4/3 is a weird thing to do, completely out of the ordinary for something you'd find on NG. It's a good beat, and good notes (despite their similarity to Riot by Three Days Grace). Either way, this is good stuff, and I look forward to hearing more of your artistry in the future, particularly in odd time signatures.

This is wonderful

I really like this song. I like your others too, but this one is quite unique. I like the way you built it up and the variety of instruments you used throughout. I've tried fruity loops and pretty much, I suck at it, so I can truly respect it when people are as good at musical synthesis as you are.

That trumpet at the end is very nice, but I wonder, is it real? It sounds excellent.

Good work, and I'll be back to listen to your other songs.

Excellent Stuff

First, I'd like to say that I think your title is very apt. Second, I must say, I really like your songs, but none more than this. Third, I believe you use fruity loops. It sounds like you used pre-sampled effects a few times but the way you did it, they blend in beautifully and sound like they're original and supposed to be there. Really, the reason I'm commenting on that in particular is that I use a lot of presamples in my songs, and although they rival none of yours, I still think they're fairly good. Despite that, people still come along bitching about how I didn't edit the effects, so I can understand how troublesome it would be for you if people were to complain and I can also be amazed at how well you were able to pull it of when I couldn't. Lol. Essentially, amazing work and good job with this. This song is definitely a keeper.
